There’s a growing community of people in Los Angeles who practice self-sufficient living. Whether it’s growing herbs on your apartment balcony, a small plot of tomatoes and squash in your backyard, or maintaining a full-fledged chicken farm, farming the in the city is really catching on. This free, monthly lecture series takes a look at the how-to’s and why’s of sustainable living, the value to self and community, and ways to incorporate it into your daily lives. Space is limited – preregistration is required.
